Blue Hills Reservation, Milton MA 7/31/04
Old Man of the Woods is a shaggy looking mushroom worth a close look. In a mat of sphagnum moss along a dried out stream these very small mushrooms were doing well. I've been unable to identify them yet. In the spring this pool is filled by a strong waterfall, now only a slight movement of water is visible in the upper left corner. |
